The Brewery

The Shakespeare Brewery

The Shakespeare Brewery is New Zealand’s first Brew Pub located in a historic hotel building in Auckland’s CBD. The Brewery is capable of producing hundreds of thousand litres of craft beer per year using only the finest Malt, yeast and hops in all in our brews.

ALL OUR BEERS ARE UNIQUe

“I would give all my fame for a pot of ale….”! That’s what William Shakespeare said, and we agree.

The Shakespeare brewery has been renowned over the decades for giving New Zealand its iconic craft beer brand. All our beer is LIVE which means, we don’t flash pasteurize or filter our beer and this is for a Damn good reason, we want you to enjoy beer as it should be with all the luscious flavours of malts and hops without being wiped out by any of these unnatural processes.

STAY IN LIVING HISTORY

None of our beers are ever quite the same!

All our beers are unique; we create recipes from influences all over the world and recreate them adding a twist of pure Shakespeare to get just the right balance and flavours.
